| So I got promoted at work and into a new department. There is a girl in my new department that had also applied for the same position I just got about 4 other times. This would have been her 5th time applying. Needless to say shes pissed she didnt get it. I said hello to her and she totally ignored me which would have been fine if I wasnt her supervisor. So I guess my question is do I let her cool off a bit and see how I run things and leave her to do her own thing or do I make an effort to communicate with her since we are going to have to work together and treat her like I do the rest of the team who has welcomed me without any resentment |
