ok, so... I also have to figure who I want to get a job with. My choices are

A) Boilermakers or Ironworkers union

B) Subcontracting (again) in VA or WY

Both pay really well, both have excellent benefits. Union work will guarantee my living situation in Seattle, period, but sub-ing only guarantees for the job term, and then I'm back in Seattle looking for work again...
