People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON . . . It is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realise is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON . . . Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Relationships..its all about WORK WORK N MORE WORK!!!...why do some people think that once you've hooked up with that guy or girl their work is done? HARDLY!! When you find someone you like one tends to mold oneself to become their object of affection by "liking" the same things...listening to the same music...goin to the same places of interest that person does...dressing up and speaking and behaving in a certain manner that that person likes saying all the right things that you KNOE they want to hear but then once the honeymoon period is over.. BAM!!...you tend to go back to your old ways and the person is left wondering who the hell they fell in love with in the first place...

Yes, we all have faults but isn't it better to show those faults right from the start so that your potential significant other KNOES what he/she is getting into that way it leaves no chance for misrepresentation and that person could never ever say you lied to them about who you are or that you're not the person they had fallen in love with..Hey...at least you'd never be accused of leading the person on and you'd KNOE they love you for all the right reasons...

Just coz you've got that special girl in your life doesn't mean you don't have to still make all the little efforts you did or made during the courting period...dont ASSUME she knoes you still love her or that you're thinking of her or that you're missing her when you don't give SOME kind of sign be it physically or verbally or by doin something nice for her! She still wants to get a call from you, a compliment, or a text msg...heck! she'd even settle for a post-it note! : P She still wants to be assured that you love her...she NEEDS to hear it and no I'm not saying you have to tell her every min of every hour (if she DOES want that, might be high time to start revaluating your relationship because it's a sure sign shes insecure in the relationship) Sometimes all it takes is a kind word like, "You look great" even when her hair is in a mess and her make up is running...lol: P

And of course, that doesn't mean guys don't want the same thing back from their gal!! They still want to know you love them when they're being a jerk or sulky because they had a bad day...they want to know it's ok to come home and lay their head on your lap without having to say anything and know you'll cuddle them even if it's just for a few mins...that you still love them even when they're bawling like a little baby because they hurt themselves...AND...that you don't think them less of a man for it!...that you'd still hug him even when he comes home all grubby after a hard day @ work...(just hold your breath heheh :P itll be over in 5,4,3,2,1!! Then you can tell him to get his grubby ass to the shower hehehe) but the bottom-line is...he wants to know he can drop all pretences when he's ALONE with his baby girl...that he doesn't have to be some macho guy who always has the answers...doesn't always have to know HOW to handle a situation but at least be willing to try

All in all...one has to WORK to keep a relationship strong and fresh and exciting so that neither party can ever use it as an excuse to stray...to find something or someone new, fun or adventurous! Pft!.. :P Compromise obviously comes to play a fair bit in a relationship as you have TWO people with separate ideas or believes on how some things should be done when it comes to certain things...as they work TOGETHER to not only share their ideas n believes with their partner but to also get them to see where theyre coming from...
