My 13yo daughter is a self harmer, cuts herself to relieve lifes stresses.
I'm at wits end on how to help her. She has counsellors left right and center but they seem to be wrapping her in cotton wool and it isnt helping.
She is a great, talented likeable kid with no known abuse in her life, she's just struggling to deal with life in general.
Bloody bullies at school bought this latest on, not physical bullying, rumours and emotional bullying, and now she seems to have developed a severe case of 'scolinophobia' (fear of school) some kids can be so harsh.
I know there are alot of people out there who do self harm, or know people who do. I'm hoping to get some feedback on what to do for her, and for me too I spose. I feel so helpless, and am worried so much about her. |
