Please be safe and stay warm in this ice storm if you have a fireplace please don’t burn would with a finish on it make deadly fumes , here are some tips below to stay warm if you. If you don’t have a fireplace, a crockpot or terra-cotta pot upside down on top of two ceramic mugs can double as a space heater with a few Tea lights Place food in Tupperware outside .If you have any heat producing gym attire wear it under clothes. Build a blanket fort if you don’t have a smaller interior room to keep in warmth works better then a big room. Seal windows with tape but leave a few unsealed for ventilation . .
Stay Safe and Warm everyone . Godbless all my fellow people getting ready to brace the ice storm/snow a few tips if you don’t have a fireplace, you can make a small heater with a few tea candles, and a terra-cotta pot and two bricks. , put your food outside if you lose your electric, make sure it’s sealed, for hot water for coffee or tea or broth. You can take a small pot a big pot, a candle and two butter knives and make yourself a small stove that will not be dangerous. if you have any insulated gym gear wear under your clothes if you don’t have a tent to keep heat on build a fort like you did as kid , do not burn anything in your fireplace that has a finish on it for it can be a toxic fume . When sealing widows don’t seal all bc you need ventilation when using candles of any sort. Only cover some . Make sure you wear a hat and you can also put plastic bags under your socks to keep heat in if absolutely necessary need be . Be careful stay warm. And look out the window time to time ive sto
