While I was unable to log-on and
with the yucky weather outdoors
I found myself watching TV again.
Not my usual sporting event playing
while I hang with YOU on the fu either ...
I was 'WATCHING' shows ... something
I rarely have done these last couple of years
I've been enjoying downtime it's been with
YOU here on the fu.
And I have this old style consol TV
like the type your parents had ...
That was actually a piece of furniture ...
that there may of had photos on,
Or lined with a doily overlay even?
Instead of one that hangs on the wall
like a photo & has the resolution like a window!
I mean - TV's have grown up to be
amazing technology that's astounding
when you compare them to what we had as kids.
I thought for not only how the aesthetics differ,
And the technology advancements that occurred ...
But the content of the programs we watch changing so drastically.
Lexy & I were watching a older movie and it showed
a guy fall asleep in front of the tube being awoken
by the sound of the TV going off the air . . .
Lexy wouldnt even know what thats like???
I mean not only did I grow up with 2 and on a good day 3
chanels to watch, I could only watch it until they went off the air.
Funny how kids don't have an idea of how good they have it?
Well, I could go on & on ...
but I'll take a break and return

What's your favorite TV show
I guess I'm like most "NET" folk ...
and would rather see or interact on the computer,
So I don't have "Must See" TV ...
(That I feel sighted if I miss)
But My weekends spent with Lexy
I seem to end up in front of the tube
at some point of the day.
And some of the "kids" shows are entertaining ...
But not on my 'favorite list'
But kids shows on Disney or Nic like:
Hannna Montana
Sweet Life
Cory in the house
Will bring a small chuckle.
But if I exclude sports
(You know I'm a full-on fan of all)
Including MMA/UFC (Ultimate Fighter Champion)
I do like some FX shows like:
Dirt
The Riche$
Nip/Tick
"Dirt" has Courtney Cox (friends) who is a tabloid magazine editor,
and believe me ...
It's not a "Friends" knock off
nor is she like her character
Monica in this show.
It's full of the dirty things you
see on those front pages papers
that sit by the check out lines -
With some 'real' story lines mentioned
but revolves around fictional
movie stars, celebrities that will
remind you of the real life version
experiencing the same gossip.
"The Riches" isn't near as dirty
or scandel filled,
but keeps my interest with a family of "Travelers"
or con artist/gifters/Gypsies
that had to run from their 'clan'.
They happened to assume the life of
a couple that they witness killed
by accident while being chased by
one of their disgruntle fellow
'Travel Family.'
They ended up living in the now
dead high-end lawyers home trying
to blend into a family life of the rich
& powerful people that they used to target
as victims for their petty thief and cons.
It has a lot of funny scene &
high jinx with an underlying tone
that shows their "Criminal" lifestyle
isn't any worst if not better than some
of the shady dealings the "regular"
folks comment themselves.
"Nip/Tuck" I thought this show
was ground breaking and edgy
from the first season ...
but it's gone to the bizarre this last season.
For the non-viewers, it's about two
best friends from college who are in
a plastic surgery business together.
This show has great actors but man -
their writers must have a need to
find/explore all the strangest &
taboo things imaginable.
From midget porn, incest to
murdering stalkers and throw in a case
of amnesia ...
soap opera But -
I'm into this one now!
"UFC" new season starts April 2nd Woot!

I made it last night,
I thought it looked a lot
like scrolling end credits
on TV ... Which it why I made
my blog a TV theme today.
Did seem like the extended weekend
went by fast, I wasn't ready to start
another week already ... That's For Sure!
But, it's here and from watching all that bad TV ...
I'm not risking going back in time ... it only makes
for watching MORE reruns - On their first runs!
