Twenty-one years ago, my life seemed to finally make sense to live

God gave unto me a baby boy , which was the best thing anyone can give.

His sweet smile, his look of me, his charm and character that made me glow,

This is something nobody else can understand or truly know

You can find a princess in your life , and even make her your beautiful wife.

But she cant replace the Queen of your heart, Because I was that from the start.

I may not be your perfect image of the perfect Mother,

But baby boy you can never ever have another.

Its easy to judge my life and down me for things I cant do but others can do

But that's okay baby boy , I still promise to not judge you.

Because I love you and believe you do your best,

In my eyes your my hero and I don't care about the rest.

If I cant go on and for some reason I get weak through this time we live

Please find it within your heart to somehow forgive.

You said your grown now and time to let you live your life,

your family now is your baby and my jess whom will be your wife.

I truly do understand because I lived it in the past,

and boy baby why did time have to go by so fast.

You guys are right I truly am a jinx and dont know why,

I guess its one of those things will never know even after we die

Everything I love and loves me back will pay the price of hardship to come

regardless they deserve it or not it will happen to all not just some.

All that love me and bring me to their life ahead

they dont know it yet but be better off if I was dead

I use to feel cheated out of life in the beautiful things and of a easier path to succeed

I didn't even stop to judge others cruel and selfish greed.

I minded my own and kept a smile in hoped it spread to another,

All because I was so grateful that GOD blessed me as a Mother.

It didn't matter to me of the past hurt I lived,

My children made life so much easier to forgive.

I use to pray to the Lord ,If I promise my best to do right,

will you promise to keep my children safe thru the night?

At least til my time has come and I earned my wings to fly,

Please dear Lord keep my children by my side.

They are my strength to keep living past all pain,

And losing you joey has now made my sunny days feel like rain.

I go bed every night wishing I could carry you back into my arms,

Running away with you protecting you from all harm.

But reality takes me back home again,

As tears begin to fall cause Im scared to face the end.

Will you be home soon, back with me,

Please Dear God don't let them take my baby.

He is so full of life and love inside his heart,

I know this Lord because I molded him right from the start.

I always been here from the very start,

I'm the woman who gave you that golden heart.

I'm the lady who rocked you to bed,

when you screamed and cried from the top of your head.

When you got your school shots I was the woman they gave tissue to wipe her tears,

Not just the first time but every time you needed it thru the years.

When you got stitches and you cried not cuz' you were hurt but cuz' that loud scream,

I was that woman who they had to calm down for you to just get seen.

All your baby pictures you see , ever wonder who you were smiling at ?

It was "mama" baby boy that was sitting there smiling back.

Do you remember your first day of school that Lady they asked to leave?

Well I'm guilty hun, I cant deny that Lady was me.

So when you see me standing at the window not wanting to go,

please understand its hard to walk away from my "baby joe"

Remember those times I chased around those kids who hurt you,

I did it cause when they hurt you, they hurt me too.

I know you think its childish of me when I hide and do goofy things I shouldn't do,

But please forgive me baby for those things were the things that made you smile when you were blue.

I guess I gotta learn they don't work much no more and your now grown,

But all those things made me feel special to you and now i feel they been stolen.

Our other boys I guess I learned to not be so stupid and do those little things I use to,

Because now when I do them seems I get called "stupid" by Dad or you.

But Joey a mother is like an angel if her heart is right to her child she had

and I hope I was an Angel in your eyes even through the bad.
