What are you waiting for?
I've been growing a beard for some time now, I was going to shave it earlier this month but I thought:
"It's October, I'll keep it for my costume."
I'm going as Jack of "The pirates of the Caribbean" fame. I've been told that some of my pictures look a little like Johnny Depp.
(it's doubtful, but a nice compliment never-the-less)
I've been going all out as far as costumes and parties go for the Halloween season for most of my adult life. Something about putting on costumes is always a blast.
I've pulled off some pretty good costume designs in my time. I like doing unusual characters more so than conventional. I rarely cover my face with full mask ... it's usually painted or slightly covered enough to have a hard time knowing who I might be.
In the past I've been:
Zorro
A hermaphrodite (half man/woman but on EACH SIDE)
Half Devil/Half Angel (right down the middle again)
All these winning me some prize at the bars.
I think the worst of these was when I did the half man/half woman ... Oh, it was a blast that night, it was the next morning that created some interesting looks.
I'd grew out a full beard again for the deal. Shaving half off (for the female side) I had a nice long shoulder length hair, so I made the male side a 'biker' looking. I actually died half of my hair black. I had one of my girlfriends plaster half my face with make-up (god - think stage pancake with a 80's high hair and blue eye make-up) It actually turn out real good.
The bottom part took a little sewing, I took a tight black long selves T-shirt, and sewed a 1/2 a sleeveless jean jacket to a woman vest. I added ONE over sized boob to the fem side. For the legs old jeans with one leg cut off, then a miniskirt sewed to the half without the leg, covering up the rest of the jeans. Place some fishnets under those and "Ta-da" ... One "hermaphrodite"
(fake nails, one earring ... and -- NO I didn't shave one leg)
Well, it was pretty good - I won $150.00 bucks and "over indulged" in the drinks.
I don't drink & drive so, somehow I ended up in a hotel room:

I awoke the next morning in a half-drunken paniced state. All I knew is I had to be at work in less than an hour. I rush out to my car and wouldn't you know I'd hit ever stop light ...
Yes, face smeared with make-up, half a beard and the same clothes ...
Oh, what the cars must of thought as they glanced over at each light I hit.
Yeah, you know it ... Pulled over! "W o n d e r f u l story officer ..."
*shakes head*
