I know of a story 'Who Am I?'
From my Granny's Diary
The story tells of 'Who Am I?'
From my Granny's Old heart
She tells the tale
of a Mother Mouse
that visits her pot-soup
and sings, and sings-
'Leave me some meat'
all night in her cooking room
She tells the tale of a baby Cat
that she found in a death-trap
That plead to her- 'Take me home and I will make you proud'
And so it came home that night
to hear the mouse singing
It pounce on the Mother Mouse
that screamed, and screamed, and screamed-
The Cunning Old Mouse do said-'You should at least have ask who am I... And if I dont tell you who I am, then take me as your evening meal'
And so the poor baby Cat let her be
To ask her 'Who are you?'
But in a blink of an eye
The Old Mouse dissappeared.
The poor Cat went North to South
to find the tricky Mouse
It also went East to West
But Mother Mouse was no where to be found
Though Granny fell sick with laughter
But truly the Cat made her proud
If just for only one thing-
The 'Leave me some meat' Singer never call on her pot-soup again!
