Good Morning. Have you ever heard the saying; “Be careful what you wish for”… Usually it is followed by … because it might just come true, statement. Well I have one here for you. This comes from the close by state of Illinois. It all started by the man wanting to add spice to couples marriage. Here is that story:
Northbrook, Ill., husband Arthur Friedman persuaded his wife that after 10 years' marriage, they should become mate-swapping swingers, which he thought would enhance their relationship. His wife, reluctant at first, began to participate and eventually fell in love with another swinging husband, an event that precipitated the Friedmans' breakup, reported the Chicago Sun-Times. Friedman, with an inadequate appreciation of irony, sued the husband under Illinois' alienation-of-affection law, and in June, a jury actually found in his favor, for $4,802.87. However, the soon-to-be-divorced Mrs. Friedman said she felt humiliated by the implication that she had been "worth" just $480 a year. [Chicago Sun-Times, 7-1-07] I shutter to think she would even care on what price was tagged on her, him or what they went through. Yes I have often heard the phrase be careful what you wish for, and apparently it happened to someone. Did you get a chance to view yesterday’s msn video on the man suing 1-800 flowers? Oh my god. Was that not a case of the blind leading the blind? I would not have asked to have that woman on my side and protecting me from the law if I had stubbed my toe on lawn furniture. She was as goofy as he was. I think the two were the two in question… anyway that was a mess and to think the goofy ass decided to be interviewed by the today show. Here is a clue. If the today show asks to interview you on something you did not think was right… decline all knowledge of the act and lick your wounds and go on with your life. My thoughts are on this you are far better off biting the bullet and moving on with ones life then to take ridicule and further suffering at their hands. Did the man honestly think they were going to take his side? Oh well…
On a more serious note… Hurricane Flossie…let me laugh a moment… ok back, Hurricane Flossie is heading towards Hawaii!!! No that is not funny what so ever. But! The fact that the storm is called Flossie just tickles the hell out of me…what on earth were they thinking calling a storm Flossie? I mean come on, people are going to stay put just because they want to see the cute little Flossie… how could a storm called Flossie hurt anything. It sounds like a cow name. I keep waiting to hear a cow bell going ‘ clang ‘ ‘clang’ … oh hears a thought, it’s not like they can drive away to safety either… Do have a wonderful day. I keep seeing Flossie and Elsie the cow chewing their cud in a field in the morning sun… Why not Fernandez, Fredrick, ooops it’s a female name they wanted…how about Frieda? Fran, Fran Beulah… Was the storm a German decent? I better give up…
