I probably lived in Ga most my life , but I was always moving back there ,Seemed like it anyhow ,
I’d be sent to grandmas in GA while mom was in Ny , eventually mom would move closes and eventually change her mind.
I switched schools often every six months. Mostly bc back then they had deals for six month leases and my mom a single mom it was easier it also made sure I was always the new girl which was fun but made it so I couldn’t develop solid relationships of any kind with anyone , every time I got close ,it was time to say goodbye. Often , living at grandmas was in a big beautiful house living with mom was always a cool little ApT. Always close to walking to stores and apt friends if you lived in one you know how tight we are for the time being we fed each other and everything.
I lived in both suburbs and the city limits of ATL
ga I. The late 80s and 90s was a good place to be .
We listened to everything from Korn to ICE CUBE .
I was had a skater , raver ,preppy phase .
I would jump in creeks and hang out in the Reservoirs .
I went to the Olympics festival in the late 90s. I saw foo fighters and Montel Jordan at the same show!
Oh my friends were so close we always had each other’s back .
Fun to us was walking to Walmart in the middle of the night because it was 24 hours we thought it was so cool.
Going to the skating rink for cosmic skating driving around with her friends after cosmic bowling usually playing cypress hill

Going to Underground raves that were all ages that we probably even shouldn’t have been there.
We’re just hanging out at each other’s house watching scream one and two.
We’d hang outside the fondue place the melting pot.
We’d sit in our rooms with cd singles from Walmart hang them on our walls
Sometimes my schools we’re in the safest area possible sometimes they were in the most ghetto area and everything still felt so safe.
We thought we were gangster for sure .
We had to deal with that no tolerance rule that got us into more trouble then we should have been .
We were in the pool after hours till like 1am and it felt amazing . Hanging and the park and tennis courts at night
We could literally just sit at the lake and talk all night or 3way call land them they 3way call until we had a whole group and chat all night on our cordless bc we were so cool.
We sat on roofs with zero fear , For some reason we also like to sit on those electrical boxes or maybe their cable boxes I don’t know what they are but they’re green metal boxes randomly in neighborhoods

Tennis courts at night
Swimming pools ethier our own or a rich neighborhood we’d hop the fence and always end up having to re hop it soak and wet lol.
Anyhow there’s some random thoughts I don’t know if anyone read this anymore but if you do I might start writing some of this who knows maybe I’ll put her back one day.
