Ok so here goes...
Here has been my day so far...
was supposed to meet a friend for coffee this morning before I went job hunting .... well that didn't happen. (btw I wish you the best if you are reading this, it is hard but will get better!Call me anytime day or night I gave you the number for that reason! )
But I stopped in at the truckstop for some gas and.. I ran into a girl that works there and she asked what I was up to ... told her job hunting - and low and behold the manager is behind her and says come on back I will interview ya now.. lol
So I spent from about 8:30 this morn til about 11:30 talking to this guy..taking tests.. and listening to the whole spill about the company.
He hands me a stack of papers and tells me where to go for the drug test..I will tell ya all about that experience in a minute. so if he doesn't change his mind between now and then I have a job!!
At a truckstop!!! What a hoot... for all those that know me.. you know why that is so funny.
And it is in the service department to boot!
Pay isn't that bad.. said it would be above $8 plus commission and Incentives.. has benefits.. and said would start me out full time..
Now about the drug test .. I ride over to this place and I walk in.. sign my name and sit down..
and I start hearin gthis woman talking.. talking about she didn't know why anyone would think she did drugs and this would be the best money ever spent.. and then tells the lab worker not to take that much hair off..... DING!!! HUH?? HAIR?
MY ears perk up then ... and sure enough that lab technician took the scissors at the nape of her neck and cut her HAIR!!!
I was floored.. well she finishes up and then they call me .. LMAO I stood up and said you aren't thinking of doing that to me are ya? LOL
Now ihave had drug screens before but that was the first time i had seen that...
She laughs at me and says that that woman was court ordered to have that kind of test.. mine was just urine..
I told her that was good.. cause I would pee in a cup to get a job.. but I ain't cutting my hair!
So there it is my funny story.. prob only funny to me though.
So not bad..
Have another friend I had to stand up today... they aren't on here so I won't talk to them lol
but it couldn't be helped by the time I got out of there is was too late ...
I still have to get to the police dept to turn in that fake money order I got.. yeah rigth I believe it is real... send me a mo for 3 grand when your total is 600 and ask me to cash it and send the rest back as your commission yeah right... last time I checked stupid wasn't stamped on my forehead though.
I am kinda bummed out I didn't get to see my friend today was looking forward to it..but it couldn't be helped I suppose, but am excited about working again.
