As some of you know I've moved to Germany. Many things here are a bit different from in the states. Since I've been here I've realized that many many Americans are a bit uptight when it comes to certain things. I, myself, am one of those Americans (I guess) and I never realized it until a couple days ago.
~Side note~ I'm not one to be easily offended and I'm pretty laid back and go with the flow.
I go to this toy store called Rodu Kinderland that one of my coworkers tells me about so I can look at things for Aidan's birthday. I pull into the parking lot and find a spot. As I'm walking to Rodu I have to pass a couple other stores in the little strip mall. I look at the first store and it's a dollar store of sorts. I window shop for a second and begin my journey again to Rodu. There is one other store between Rodu and the dollar store. I walk past the store in the middle and read the sign... "MEGA-X Erotic Outlet". (As you know most Adult stores in the states have windows that are blacked out and you can't see in) This store had half naked mannequins in the window with whips and chains and all these books just right there on display along with their very large doors WIDE OPEN so you can see everything inside. I was like holy hell that nuts. I have my son with me so I can't go inside :( But as I look inside while walking past there is a couple in there with a 3 or 4 yr old boy just tagging along. I couldn't believe how open they are with their sexuality. I'd be afraid my son would start throwing dildos around yelling look Mommy it's a penis. Anyway we made it to Rodu and I got a few toys for the boy.
