For the sake of this mumm, let's define young adult as 18 to 25-ish. I'm seeing a lot of things that indicate this age group does not think things through. I'm talking about making decisions to have major surgery that will effect the rest of your life, like a tubal ligation or vasectomy.

Do they just not care about the consequences or are they really thinking and making informed decisions about the important stuff?
