Dont Tell Me

Dont tell me that you love me

If you dont really care

Dont tell me that you need me

If your never really there

I go through all this pain and suffering

Just to see your smiling face

Wasting my life away

Just so you could be happy

Not once did I ask you to do something for me

But yet you dont appreciate what I have done for you

I try to stay out of your way

When I know you want to be alone

I dont want to go through the pain again

Just like the last time

I still have those bruises from the last time

You say that your sorry

But in your eyes I can see that your not sorry at all

Your eyes can not lie

They shake with fury

From everything I have done wrong

I see you wanting to raise your hand to my face again

You grow furious with me once again

And yet I dont know what I have done

You eyes look like they have fire in them

You raise your hand

I close my eyes read to feel the pain

You swing

I feel a sharp fiery pain on my cheek

Then came the laughter

And more hitting

Curled up against the wall

Wanting it to be over

Finally it stops with a loud knocking at the door

You tell me to shut up as you answered the door

My friend is standing there

Looking at you strangely

The silence finally broken with words from my friend

He asked where I was

You tell him that I was in the back sleeping

I wanted to scream Im right here

I couldnt take the pain no more

I ran to the door with tears in my eyes

My friend saw me and embraced me with a hug

Holding me tight away from your grasp

Im finally feeling safe

You try to get me back

But you cant

My friend takes me away never to return

When we got back to his house

He told me I was safe now

And I would never be hurt again

I looked into his eyes

I could tell he was telling me the truth

I laid my head on his chest

Listening to his heart beat

Tears rolling down from my eyes

As I slowly fall asleep.
