Los Angeles peeps, if you're into film at all and you haven't yet experienced the New Beverly Cinema you are totally missing out! I've become quite a fan of this quaint little theater since Seth Green introduced it to me during a screening of the Coen Brothers films "Barton Fink" and "Miller's Crossing".
You never know who will be sitting in the same aisle as you while you watch old favorites that you never thought would see the silver screen again. I recently saw "Reservoir Dogs" with classic trailers and a Tom and Jerry cartoon to boot and thought it was amazing. Check it out for yourselves and see if anything strikes you on their calendar.

If anyone out there is interested in checking out some classic flicks on the big screen THIS is the place to start, not to mention the Silent Movie Theater and a couple others I have yet to run across, but I know there's more out there. Let's help these places stay open and support them by going out at least once a month. I'll be there a bit more often myself. A Blockbuster night may be cool and all, but I'll take the theater experience any day of the week.
Well, I'm off to Fu around a little more. Rawk On!
