And who says all postal workers are scary, dangerous, gun-toting freaks (overlooking the state I'm posting from)?
So, today, I met
LadyLove952007 at a Panera Bread restaurant in Dallas. I'm glad to say that there's some hope for the world, assuming she doesn't flip out and shoot us all first.
Just kidding. Actually, she's a nice person, mother to an 11-month-old girl, and a fan of some iced mocha-type drink Panera serves.
We ate, we swapped stories about the workplace (apparently I'm in the wrong business; seems like more people get screwed in government jobs than at my place)...
The food there was decent, too, and this was the first time in a while I'd been to a place where I didn't want to slap the staff.
So, now, my total number of (non-work) friends in the Dallas area has increased to two. I guess I can't complain about a 100% increase in efficiency.
