It..s that time again, I have learned much this time around. What could be in a day? Is redemption as easy as just making it to the next holiday? How sad is the human condition. There are people who cheat on their spouse and still they think they have honor, that they are chivalrous. There was a time when I had a person in my life who because they thought they were something they believed they were this thing no matter how they acted or behaved. They think this a good foundation to build on I..m sad to say this is a foundation just asking to tumble, time has told so much and will continue to do so. I pray I am wrong but so much I have predicted has come to the present and now resides in the past. Then there has been few people in my life who stand up for what they believe and are out of the box honest. The life they lead would make most flinch. These people hold the standard bar high in things that matter in hopes that people will reach for it and not just stumble into it. I hope to sail with you one day. It is these few that remind me what season greatings really mean. These days Holidays seem to be an excuse to excuse bad behavior. They distract us of how we act and remind us of how we are supposed to act. I have spent most of my life excusing bad behavior of others and I no longer do so. It is funny that most dislike the light as much as the dark. How much sadness there must be in not finding solace in either? This path has taken me down an interesting road filled with new things as well as new people. I treasure them all. I thank all of the new for giving a better perspective though distance. I give thanks for the learning now is better than later. I am thankful that honor is not something you wear. I am thankful bad character can never hide for long and I am thankful that the truth no matter how cluttered is always reveled.
