It can be so hard to tell the what people are really like sometimes!
I am a firm believer in online romance and the idea that you can meet somebody on here and develope real feeling and love them. I am just don't think you can believe everything you hear!
Just like real life some people are just out to get laid. Hell, there's nothing wrong with that! We all just need a good romp from time to time...no strings attached.
But guys...grow a set and be upfront with it. Truthfully you would have better results that way anyways..and you won't be wasting anybody's time. Times have changed and women are just as capable as men when it comes to a bootycall/friends with benefits/one night stand.

Now its not always about the sex either. i think some just need companionship. Don't have much time in real life to go out and meet people but can manage to get online while working or when they get home. So they confide in you and you confide in them and you create a long distance relationship.
Ok so these feelings are genuine...but there's a catch. (Isn't there always) Obviously their time is consumed by their jobs. So if you want to be able to move things closer together a lot will have to be giving up. Somebody will have to relocate. If they are consumed by their jobs then you can count on this never happening. The reasons they were online to meet you in the first place is because they don't have time to go out. their career is more important than a social life so why the hell do you think that you can change this! You can't!
I KNOW I HAVE BEEN THERE!

How can we pevent ourselves from going out with a man just to realize they only want one thing?
How do we prevent the online romance that is bound to leave you heartbroken?
It's had enough to read people in real life when your face to face...how the hell do you read them through a monitor?
