What do we fear most when death comes to visit?
Is it unknown intentions?
Death never asks, "how are you today?"
Death already knows its your time.
In illness death announces to the world...
"I am here..."
The rest of us who were blind
Now see it's your time to leave
And, our hearts begin to bleed.
Hearts lovingly pumped and living...
Violently slashed and bleeding
Paralyzing emotional shock
My light is gone
No longer can I see.
Shivering cold and turning blue
I am the infant soft warm, all anew
I no nothing of this death
I cry for dear life
Necessity, love, and to live.
Where is my light to live?
When family is called to their time
My tears I cannot hide
In his presence he is more beautiful than i've ever seen
he is already in peace
It is I who mourn
Before his time.
The way to live is here
he is still beautiful wearing death's cloak
My tears shower light
And I burn.
