1. It's ironic how you died...
By fire you were formed, By fire you were sacrificed.
V's POV...
2. Any chance for happiness past when I felt the flames lick me.
All I knew was that from that moment my path was concrete.
Evey's POV...
3. Through your scars, I developed scars of my own.
I was caged in my blindness, through my outrage I've flown.
V's POV...
4. You've forced me to use methods I would not normally use on you...
To force you through your pain and fear...your red and blue.
To show you who I really am.
This is not crumpets and jam...Miss Young Ma'am.
V's POV...
5. I cloaked myself in shadow.
To protect my heart and my life...all part of the plan.
I wanted to see if the fair flower had seeds of corruption in darkness's meadow.
You only knew me in the mask as a strange and violent man...you bit me and ran.
I had to see if you shone brighter under my hand.
Evey's POV...
6. Your heart questions you whenever you look at me.
You can't help but want my beauty.
Even when you tortured me and took away my fair mane.
My smooth top magnified what you barely did see...
A bald young woman,arms outstretched, crying out in the rain.
Evey's POV...
7. I regret my actions against you...but it's too late to turn back.
Never did I think that it would be you that would make me grow through the rack.
I got a taste of what is so horrific about you, that you wont let nobody that close.
You have given up on love...you wont go past the thorns to reach the rose.
I weep...I weep for the both of us.
V's POV...
8. Never did I think that you were the spark.
To enflame my mission... to lay seige on my heart.
What made you so different than the rest of them?
All these wild and tumultuous feelings...how do I stem?
Never did I think that I would see love in your eyes in the end...beginning?
