Good Morning, ah the feel of the morning air after an evening rain…sounds like a song title… Anyway it’s Hump Day so happy day to those who choose to use their hump day in a way that suits them best. I chose to work, it does not suit me well but it’s too wet to play golf and too cold to fish. It’s just too… You ever have one of those too days? Not today day just a day where you are like… what ever dude, it’s your day do what ever you feel. I am there. I looked on MSN and nothing floated my boat. I listened to the morning headlines and nothing thumbed my melon there either. I thought a bit and well, nothing…So you get a free lance Marrtay today with his Too Day and my Too Day is just what it sounds like…too. I did however watch American Idol last night and Oh, shush! Those that don’t watch TV can’t stand Idol… Zip it for a minute and listen… oooops I mean read…Jason Castro did a fabulous job last night on his rendition of “Somewhere over the rainbow” Now this was not the Dorothy version, performed by Jew Ty Gar Land Ok I know its was Judy Garland… but no it was not her version and it was Sam Harris’s memorable performance on Star Search where he astounded everyone with his version. No it was the version from the movie “50 First Dates” The song was sung by an Hawaiian Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s. His version which is beautiful if you have not seen the movie or heard that version please do yourself a favor and google it keyword 50 first dates soundtrack or Hawaiian version of somewhere over the rainbow. The song will if nothing else will perhaps give you Inspiration as it does me. In fact that was the title of last nights performances, inspirational songs. Jason Castro could play the ukulele (that midget guitar) and sing that song well enough to produce a hit song with it right now in my own feelings. But then again, it’s the ramblings of a Michigan man who thinks pudgy bunnies are hoards of marshmallow treats crammed into little softball girls mouths at Softball party’s …perhaps that was not a hit in your neck of the woods…but I laughed my ass off watching these gals I use to coach shove as many marshmallow treats in their mouths and looked like a chipmunk gathering nuts for winter… So I have nothing more rumbling around in my numbskull this morning so I guess it is time to move on into work mode. But before I do I want to wish to all a fabulous day and may your day be somewhere over the rainbow… where blue birds fly… A huge hug and many pats (lemon drops optional) Marrtay
