I am far from perfect. I make mistakes in judgement, bad decisions, and I hurt people I love most. I say things without thinking of how it will effect the person to whom I'm saying it. I speak out of anger at times... which is really just a secondary emotion to what I'm really feeling - hurt. I am a horrible communicator. I've been called a heartless bitch more times than I care to admit. Most women agree with that accusation and are proud to be considered part of that not so elite group of people. However, after it was said to me a few times, I began to think that maybe it wasn't a coincidence... but a fact. Now, I realize I have a heart... don't take things so literally... but I am not a very emotional person on the outside and that leads people to believe I don't care or am uneffected when people say or do something hurtful to me. This would be a misconception.
I'll agree that I am not an overly emotional being. I feel like emotions don't get me as far as logic might. I don't like to be vulnerable to someone I don't fully trust and even then, I sometimes keep the wooden fence up after the wall's been torn down.
