I did not know when
I slipped
from highs of anticipation
into gentle sweeps
of submission.
Perched precariously
on my nerves
the waves traveled head down -
the tips of my ringed toes
caressing love rhymes.
It was difficult to contain
and burn at the same time
the energy
till it melted into me
like an ice cube in fire.
