September 5, 2007 @ 11:34 am September 5, 2007 @ 7:05 am One day someone special will be gone. And on that clear, cold morning,in the warmth of your bedroom, you might be struck withthe pain of learning that sometimesthere isn't any more.No more hugs, no more lucky moments to celebrate together,no more phone calls just to chat, No more"just one more minute."Sometimes, what we care about the most goes away. never to return before we can say good-bye, Or say"I Love You."So while we have it . . it's best we love it . .And care for it and fix it when it's broken .and take good care of it when it's sick. This is true for marriage .... and friendships .. And children with bad report cards; And dogs with bad hips; And aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, Because we cherish them! Some things we keep -like a best friend who moved awayor a classmate we grew up with. There are just some things that make us happy, No matter what.Life is important, and so are the people we know .And so, we keep them close!I received this from someone today who thought I was a 'KEEPER'!Then I sent It to the people I Think of in the same way!Now it's your turn to send this to all those people who Are"keepers" in your life!Thank you very much For being a special part of MY Life!
I don't think it has anything to do with being caucasian, I'm not, but I do agree somewhat. I think it has more to do with the society we have made and they way this side of the world views and raises our offspring. I have a 5 yr old son and I want him to live his life and have fun and love everything this world has to offer him. But I also want him to be able to make that decision about marriage with a confidence. You have to remember that most of the world has kept the old ways in marriage, it is more of a bargain and profit. Centuries ago women were married off at a young age for wealth and status, very rarely was it love.
I personally don't agree with that. As teens we think we know everything. That responsibility should be for when they are able to deal with that. With marriage comes responsibility, how would they take care of that at 15 or any age around that. Some 30 yr olds can't even deal with it.
