How do you write a poem
in which words can't even describe
the feeling I'm having inside?
How many ways and how many times
can I say 'I love you'
without it sounding repeatious?
I love you!
I love you, too! ... three, four
I could say you mean the world to me
but how much does the world really mean?
Or that I love you more than anything
and anything means everything
So do I love you more
than I love my own father?
No, I don't
but that's a different love
You can say it
You can shout it
And if it's really any love
maybe you could show it
But that person should just know it
because love is more than words
