Started a new diet 8 days ago....or so they say...I say I started 15 days ago....guess depends on how I look at it. I joined a weightloss clinic and did 7 days of preconditioning and lost 5 lbs. Yipeee! Then I did the diet for 2 days lost 1.5 lbs and then I did it for 3 days and gained .5 lbs. (Salt is bad!) So I cut salt for 3 days and lost 3 lbs. This means I am excited to say I have lost 9 lbs all together. Which is a good dent into the 72 lbs I am to loose by September 8th. Only 63 more lbs. LOL Today I started excercising on my eliptical again - did 15 minutes. Doesn't sound like a lot but it was for me since I haven't used it for a month or so. Goal is to do it everyday.
This is a different diet for me. I am learning what portions look like and learning about using vitamins to keep me healthy. I really hope this beacomes are real lifestyle change. I know even if I don't loose the wieght, I will learn something so it will be a success.
I know I am over the really hard part - I have given up soda and alchohol. My cravings are getting less but admit the pizza and ice cream commercials are driving me nutz becuase I love ICE CREAM. :0) Someday I know I will be able to have the food I love again. Just need to realize I control what goes in my body and what I feel.
