So as many of you know by now that I have two children. One of which I have full custody of (my 9 year old daughter). My son is by a different mother whom I left in January of 2006 due her mental illnesses causing problems between us. She refused to continue seeing her psychologist and to take her medications. So obviously she crashed and burned mentally.
Well I live about 15 to 20 minutes away from the Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg, VA. Every two years, my father & mother, daughter, son, myself, and two of our neighbors each get the 2 year seasons pass. Well last year, my son's mother Cathy, purchased a 2 year season pass for my son. She decided to go with the EZPay plan which lets you pay $12 a month for 24 months rather than paying the whole 200 and some odd dollars upfront for the pass. Well yesterday I asked Cathy if I could borrow Jonah's pass because we all wanted to go up to Busch today. She explained to me that she needed me to pay $60 towards the pass. After thinking about it, I realized that if she OWES $60 on the pass, that meant she hadn't paid anything since like September of last year on the EZPay plan. So I called her back and explained to her that I will not pay for her debts to get her off the hook with this. Of course she turned into her usual ranting, raving, lunatic and just snapped (that's part of her mental illnesses). So after blowing off what she was saying, I decided to go ahead and get Jonah a pass of his own to keep HERE at the house so when I want to take him up to Busch, I won't have to worry about if he is able to get in or not due to delinquent payments on his pass. So I bought him one but put this one on my account so I won't have to worry about it. Well after our day of fun today, Cathy came over to pick up Jonah around 7ish. When I opened up the front door, she balled up his season pass she had for him and threw it at my face. She then stepped into the house and pushed me while calling me names. I told her to quit bringing her drama around here and to get the fuck out (most of you that know me very well also know that I'm pretty blunt like that, even in real life. I don't sugar coat shit). When I told her to get the fuck out, she grabbed my neck with both hands and tried to choke me. I snaked both of my hands up between her arms and elbowed both of her biceps to get her to let go. She then punched me in the temple and tried kicking me several times. By then my father, mother, daughter, and son were all by the door. Parents getting between Cathy and I, and both kids crying and trippin'. My father took Cathy's shirt and pushed her outside the door. My mother was on the phone with 911 at this time. When my father locked the door she put her foot through the glass door. I then said "Look what the fuck you did! Nevermind that. Look what the fuck you are doing to my kids!!!" When I said that, she then put her fist the rest of the way through the glass. I then walked away and got both kids together, and put them up in my room and I hung out with them for a few minutes until the cops arrived. While I had the kids in my room trying to calm them down, I could still hear Cathy vs my parents downstairs. Fifteen minutes and 9 cops later, the situation finally began to calm down a bit. Since she was the mother of my son, the police gave me choice, turn my son over to child services or let Cathy's father (who is also a cop and I trust him dearly and was off duty at the time) to take Jonah to his home and keep him there until my next visitation. If you read this far, you should already know which option I went with there. Well Cathy ended up going to jail tonight for assault and battery, destruction of property, and she violated a noise ordinance (yes we have those in this state because we suck).
So now that I gave you a novel to read, I hope those of you that know my heart also know what my next move will be. GO FOR CUSTODY OF JONAH NOW!!!
I FINALLY got the break I needed in order to get custody. If and when I do get custody, I can finally live in peace knowing that now BOTH of my kids are here with me and safe from harm. I love them dearly and want nothing more than to have them around all the time, raise them the best way I know how, and to do what a good daddy does best, keep a smile on their faces. I never understood with either of my kids' mothers, why were neither of the kids ever put first with them? I never understood why it seemed to be always about what THEY wanted and not what is best for the children. Once you become a parent, the revolutions of life begin to revolve around a different center. Please keep me in your prayers, whichever god or gods you pray to, that my son will FINALLY be with me and all will go well. My kids are important to me and I love them truely.
