ZEON WANTS YOU!

So it took me a month to get my sleep schedule back to where I was up 7:00a.m.-12:00 a.m.

It took ONE sleepless night about 2 weeks ago to FUCK THAT UP!!!

I woke up... an hour ago?
More or less.

Fucking
sleep.

Well dear readers this is primarily a robot and ~ food blog in that I'm going meatless a couple weeks again due to necessity.

I've got a ribeye primal (practically) in my fridge which is at least 6 BIG steaks for me. About 2 lbs of pork sausage, and a whole duck in my freezer
and I'm due a couple whole beef livers.
*calls the folks... probably not going to be up for a while*

But as an act of penance (for not getting a fucking job) I'm eating another pound of rehydrated black beans
that means gallo pinto. WOO!

Actually this stuff is a million times better with some pig or cow fat.
Save your drippings kids.
*stomach growls* so hard to be excited for rice and beans...

On a happier note
I think I've made at least one breakthrough on my gouf.
Since I want to make the rear thruster of the calf an organic shape- it makes more sense to do so on my side thruster too.
I think I have the generic shape and design hashed out
its basically a semi-lavalamp.
If I were to lay it on its side
it'd look like this

<oOC

Basically an hourglass that comes to a point with a hollow bell at the bottom reduced from a trapezoid that conforms to the calf.
You take that shape as a flat piece of plastic
Make an extra half of that shape and place it perpendicular in the center of the flat piece
This will create a 3D frame for putty.
So I'll need to make 3 of the forms.

That's the theory anyway.
A 3 dimensional lavavalamp/hourglass thruster cup.
I might be able to put some more english on it but I'm not sure, it's gonna be dependant on the putty's ability to bond with glue and plastic (and in my experience, this doesn't go so great.

Why I'm presently favoring this design is because the "jet box" design doesn't fit with the rest of the thruster arrays, and it requires WIDGETS
fuckloads upon fuckloads of widgets.
Extra boxes, tubes, wires lenses
There's not too many HARSH geometric forms or lines on the Gouf, he's relatively smooth (most zeon designs are)
And I think the demi-hourglass has more interest than even the best designed box.

I won't know til I'm headfirst in it, but I might need more framework, and more eye-measuring than I'm normally comforable with to get this thing done right.

My main goal though is to get something DONE on the Gouf.
I've split myself too many directions, hitting plataeus and having to redirect energy too many ways.
I started with the shoulders
the shoulders have the most work done on them.
I need to get MORE done on the legs.

I also discovered that my putty can be drilled, with relative ease, so this might be how I fix these forms into position
using something akin to rebar if it doesn't hold on its own.

Anyone else feel like watching JAG or NCIS while they work?

... I should probably do some semi or quarter circle forms on the hourglass to maintain the curvature

*sigh*
this is gonna be so much work XD
