Just a warning, this may get long and involved, so here's your chance to get out now! LOL

Ok, here's the scoop:

I was dating Bill for about 2 months and in that time we had a lot of long discussions about our likes and dislikes. I explained that I wasn't like any other woman in that I don't get jealous and I don't pick fights or argue. He agreed that that was a positive trait and wished more women were like that.

Anyway, he ended up breaking my heart and trust by fucking some other girl, who, by the way, KNEW he was dating me when she slept with him. Ok, so I'm over it now and we agreed to be friends, since we frequent the same coffee shop in the mornings.

So I invited him to a benefit for the Doernbachers Childrens Hospital where several of my friends bands were playing. He accepted with the understanding that we are going as JUST friends. We were not even driving together. We were going to meet there.

The morning of the event, at coffee, we reaffirmed what time we would both be there. Bear in mind that I have asked him several times if his new girl was okay with us going to this as JUST friends, and he reassured me that she was cool with it. I remember thinking to myself, "yeah right."

So, I got to the event at about 7:30, he was to show up about 8:15. He never showed up. I texted him around 10 to find out wtf? He texts back that he didn't show because all of a sudden, his new girl didn't like the idea of us going to this event together. He ended up having an arguement with her over the phone. (another point you should know is that she lives over 200 miles away.)

So what I'm so confused about is if men hate it when women get jealous, and pick fights and argue, why in the hell do they continue to gravitate to those types of women??

I just don't get it.

I guess I never will.
