On Being a Pagan
There's something quite different
From the way you look at me
Words can not justify
My Love for Earth and Sea
Although we live together
We are two seperate worlds apart
I have felt the pull of Spirit
Within the chambers of a beating heart
I whisper as I did before
Sweet nothings in your ear
But feel the shallow waters
That seperates us my dear
If you could only see
Through the pupil of the Sun
I would feel with you
an Unconditional Love as One
As time melts into darkness
And shadows melt the years
My breath becomes a single source
For all the Witches burned my dear
I do not follow a single path
For me this is undone
To guarantee one God
Shows no outlet to become
For he who seperates me from you
Has dwelt upon my past
For I have finally reached him
And this is afoot at last
I have no desire to curse you
For this you alone have learned
I have no desire to convert you
For in this life you alone have yearned
The gaps are being filled
From Pagans of like-minds
They are of nature too
And ner' shall be confined
For it is in each breath she takes
As she cradles each in her arms
And nurtures each her life
Our Earth Mother so devine
He is with us through each feeding
As a Father is meant to do
To watch us and to guide us
And to learn what is the Truth
There is something quite different
From the way you look at me
Words can not justify
My Love for Earth and Sea!
