Last nite I woke and U was there,just like U used to be.
I knew for just a short time but U were holding me.
We smiled we laughed we shared the dream......
time stopped for awhile or so it seemed.
We spoke of days like we was there, we spoke of
times that we had shared.It wasn't the past that
filled our hearts. It was just last nite and
we were never apart.
The little things that warmed the nite
was right before us in plain sight.
U saw it too and held me close
U never once let me go.
A sparkle of sun then
U had gone , another dream
another song.
One that plays so tenderly
and always brings u back to me.
And so we wait for the next sweet night
it's always there, you're right on time.
It starts back up ur never far
