I have a friend (and her boyfriend) coming in tonight from DC and staying through the weekend. The weather is supposed to get incredibly cold here. My dogs are normally outside during the day and inside for the night. Come to find out the boyfriend doesn't like dogs and she wanted to know what I planned on doing with them during their visit.

I have made no other accommodations for my pets and don't feel like I should.

Should I try to be a better hostess?
