I just got my first speeding ticket tonight. I was leaving the grocery store, took a left and had a rather large truck on my rear end...so I did not want to be too slow taking off...I have a standard, and sometimes it does not want to get out of it's own way. Anyway, the last speed limit sign on the way to the store is 50MPH and he clocked me at 56....the officer informs me that where he pulled me over, the speed limit is 40MPH...but the sign for it to change is after the store parking lot...so I never saw it....also like I said, the truck was on my bumper...the officer even admitted he was trying to decide which of us to tag...and selected me since I was first even though the guy was tailing me...

I know this is long, but I figure it only fair to give you the details before asking you to make a choice.

So now the question goes to all of you...help me make up my mind...should I pay the 103 dollar ticket or fight it???
