What are you waiting for?

A Kiss

Here she sleeps now in my arms, To steal a Kiss, oh what the harm, Just a small one that none will miss, But still the essence of a Kiss. Oh for the chance to hold her near, And whisper things for her to hear, To say the things to make her stay, With me for now and every day. Oh for the strength to let her see, The things I keep inside of me, To ask her now to share my sight, For just this moment, if not for life. If just from her to see a sign, To show the way to make her mine, So for this sign I now do wish, The sign behind a simple Kiss. DQA

Starlight

Oh Star Light, Oh Star Bright, The Midnight Star, Shining Bright. Truth Be Told, Make It Bold, Leading Me Far, To One To Hold. My Star Light, My Star Bright, My Guiding Star, Filling My Sight. Of My Heart, To Never Part, Or Straying Far, New Life To Start. DQA

And there you are dancing in the light, Once again performing your sacred rights, Drawing upon the force of your Goddess there, Her power abounds, filling the air. She is the one behind all your magic, Those unaware, live a life that is tragic, Not even knowing of what they do miss, That service to Her, fills your life with bliss. The life you were given has lead you to this, To be in Her service is your only wish, And so tonight as you dance in Her light, Using Her powers to set all thing right. So dance my sweet witch, dance through the night, Dance to your Goddess, completing the rights, And as you are dancing, surrendering you life, The Goddess and I will guard you all through the night. The Rescue

Here comes your knight charging fast across the land, Seeking to save his fair lady's hand, Mounted there on his noble young steed, Urging it onward, gathering more speed. His steed is as black as the blackest night, Except for its' forehead, a star blazing white, Power and grace flows under the knight, To rescue his lady, and make all things right. Not stopping though around him the storm does rage, His eyes all a glow with a bright red haze, Drawing the fury of the storm into him, Knowing that to his lady he must win. Racing right up to the castle's walls, As the arrows around him begin to fall, Up the wall he now does climb, Thoughts of his lady filling his mind. Around him now the arrows still shower, He continues to draw on the storms awsome power, An arrow strikes hard but he ignores the pain, Thoughts of his lady are keeping him substained. Higher now, soon he is over the top, The enemy falls back, unable to stop, The rage inside is sweeping him away, Leaping to battle, he cries out her name. Swords clashing, he enters the fray, For he is her hero, to rescue the day, Suddenly a sword has peirced his side, Spinning and slashing, he watches another man die. With fury and rage, he again cries out her name, The pain and the worry driving him insane, Blow after blow he delivers to them, No longer human, releasing the demon within. Eyes all ablaze he sweeps them aside, As one by one he watches them die, From the top of the wall, through the courtyard below, He engages them all, then lays them all low. Finally before the keeps door he now stands, Kicking open the door, with bloody sword in hand, And there before him is a mountain of a man, All that stands between him and his lady's hand. With a cry of rage, your hero strikes out at him, But parrying easily, the big man does grin, Again and again the two swords do crash, As all through the sky, the lighting does flash. The ringing of the strikes echoes off the walls, Sparks are flying with the force of them all, Time and again your knight strikes out at him, The fury behind the blows never seeming to end. With a cry of triumph the foe lunges for the chest, Thinking that now the hero he has best, And the hero watches with eyes cold as steel, Excepting the blow that he no longer can feel. Grabbing the sword, pulling him more on the blade, The hero sends his own sword, there on its way, And the look of triumph in the big mans eyes, Turns to fear as he realizes he is to die. The knights sword whistle from the force of the strike, Putting behind it the fury of the night, The sword cut through the helmet like it's nothing but air, Severing the head as the foe can only watch and stare. And as the big man's body starts to fall, The hero stand silent, watching it all, Slowly he pulls the sword from his chest, Knowing that now is not his time to rest. Slowly he stumbles onward, his heart is now rent, Weakened now that the fury has been spent, Lower now, through the castle he does search, Wearry now, against the walls he does lurch. Finally now to the dungeon he comes, Trying to finish what he has begun, But before him stands a guard at the door, And knight is unarmed, for upstairs is his sword. But the guard see the look in his eyes, And realizes that he is going to die, So quickly now he gives up the keys, And up through the castle, he does now flee. Your knight turns once more to the door, Stumbling now he slips to the floor, But he is your hero, so again he does rise, For he knows that his lady is waiting inside. Through the door and down the steps he does go, Refusing to let his injuries to show, Slowly now he reaches her cell, Praising the Gods, in finding her will. As he opens the door, you fall into his arms, Safe now, protected from all harm, Taking your hand, your knight leads you away, Your hero that has come to rescue the day. Up through the castle, as he covers your eyes, Shielding you from the men that have died, Going out through the now open gate, There to where his horse now does wait. Up on his horse, now bounding away, As dawn is breaking on a brand new day, Safe in his arms is where you do ride, As from you, the wounds your hero does hide. Slowly now from the horse he does slide, No longer from you, his wounds he can hide, Turning the horse, you start back around, Gasping at seeing your knight on the ground. Seeing him there, a cry escapes from you lips, As now from his horse you do finally slip, Kneeling there, his head in your lap, Watching him as a breath he does gasp. He reaches up and caresses your face, Telling you how he wouldn't have changed his fate, That his is happy to have given his life up for you, And that you are the one for whom he always stayed true. Smiling at you, he whispers your name, Confessing his love, wishing you felt the same, Lowering your head, you now start to cry, Then kissing his lips as he slowly dies. DQA

Eye of the Storm

I see you standing there like the eye of a hurricane, As the world around me keep spinning insane, You are the quiet calm through out it all, Sheltering me behind your wall. You are my beacon on these stormy nights, Guiding me to you with your light, Wrapping me up there in your arms, Keeping me there, now safe and warm. And as you hold me I can start to see, All the things that this life could be, Not always one full of stormy nights, But filled with rainbows that in the morning light. And when I look into your eyes so bright, Seeing how they sparkle like the stars at night, My soul is filled with the beauty of you, Your sigh, your touch, everything that you do. And though the gales around me still blow, Here in your presence there is a peace I know, And so my sweet darling, let me tell you plain, You are the eye in my hurricane. DQA
