[Pot]

And no...
not that kind of pot.

Faint hint of ginger.
Not so subtle blow of awesome.

What I done did?

I carved my ham down a smidge and ... a lot of a smidge. I started with 15 lbs and I had to get a whole bunch of that off to fit in my HUGE dutch oven.

Once that was done I took about 2 tbs of ground ginger, and 2 cans of RC

Perforated the cut side a bit (figuing, why the hell not?) and popped the lid on my pot.

Baked at 350 for about...

... 3.5 hours.

Checking regularly til I hit 160 internal temp.

That easy.

I put about half of my unbaked ham in a tupperware container to soak in the ginger RC ham goo.

I'm expecting that to be about the consistency of ... a candle tomorrow.

Once the ham was cool, I just had to give the bones a sharp twist, and they were out of there.
I now have...14lbs of ham.

I ate at least a pound of it cutting it to fit the pot, taste testing
taste testing
and calling "bag fries"

For dinner I took about
2 cups of artificial crab meat,
a heavy pinch of tumeric, cumin, and red pepper,
5/6ths cups of jasmine rice,
a splash of milk (coconut would've been better but I had none open)
one banana
one large clove of garlic
and a few drops of viet namese ketchup (its that hot sauce with the green nozzle in the oriental section... and its not really ketchup.)

tossed it into my rice maker
(it needed some lemon grass)

Out came curry.
Mush the banana into the rice, add a couple dobs of thai peanut butter sauce

Eat.

It was freaking fantastic.
And probably lunch tomorrow.

Then I'm on a strict diet of...
holy crap that's a lot of ham.

Well...
I've got a ton of beans
a ton of greens
a ton of mushrooms
a dozen eggs
a little bit of corn meal
about 40lbs of rice
a new bottle of soy sauce
a bag of frozen soy beans
a block of pecorrino romano
a large avocado
half a pomegranate
2 bananas
2 onions
...
...
...
No such thing as curry ham.

Why is that?

I figured greens first.
But I have to make the room for it, that dutch oven is the only feesible way to get em cooked.

This'll be delicious
an adventure
and a challenge.

Wooooooooooooo!
*flash forward to four days from now*
"God damn I'm sick of ham".

In other news.
Clover is ovualating.
... ugh.

6 weeks of bitchy bleeding dog.
Just when it starts getting FREEZING cold.

Kampfer is... along.
Parts are mostly seperated
they'll get masked after that.
Spikes are mostly set and sanded
I've had a lot of fun with these mods.

They were less time consuming than anticipated, but they sure were intimidating.

Painting -may- be more involved than the Zaku I. they're both "old MG's" but the Zaku I is one of the most simplistic kits I've ever built. The kampfer was a bit more articulated, sturdy and detail/labor intensive.

Gouf Tetra Stars is probably next.
I'm commandeering a shotgun from my Kampfer (at least putting a drum on it... though... circles *shudders*).

I keep picturing it in my head
and it doesn't have nearly enough speed.
We'll keep working on that.

I'm not going to start planning my next Kampfer or Gouf for a while.
And I've already got a couple RX-78's I want to build.
Nothing red.
Ever.
I wonder how much those individual beads suck on the Gouf.
