As an agency care worker I visit various homes accross my county. Yesterday I went into a home I have been into many times. Two of the other carers in that home seem to be attempting to make trouble for me.
The situation: I refused to hoist a severely disabled patient by myself (it's illegal). One of the girls said "it's only hoisting" to which I replied "it's only illegal" so she and her buddy went running to the manager of the home saying I was being unco-operative and giving them attitude. I immediatly informed my own manager of this who would like to put in a formal complaint to the home as I have had problems with these bitches before.
So should I pursue the complaint or just let it go and not return? |
