Since I enjoy cooking and baking so much I thought I would share a few of my favorite recipes with you all. If you see something you would like to try. Please do! And let me know how you like it. :)
* This particular recipe is a favorite of some of the guys that Mr. Bibbs wrestles with* And they are very easy to bake.
PEBBLES Cookie Crisps
1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 large egg
3 cups POST Fruity or Cocoa PEBBLES Cereal
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat cake mix, oil, water and egg in large bowl with wooden spoon until well blended. Add cereal; mix well.
DROP tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE 11 minutes or just until cookies begin to brown. Cool on wire racks.
This recipe here is a good quick meal. Even our daughter likes it ( AND SHE'S PICKY)
One Pot Salsa Beef Skillet
1 lb. Ground beef
2 cups water
1 cup salsa
1 pkg. ( 14 oz) Mac & Cheese
2 cups frozen corn
½ cup Mexican shredded cheese
1 green onion ( chopped)
Brown burger in skillet & drain. Return to skillet
Stir in water, salsa, and macaroni. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover.
Simmer 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring twice.
Add corn and cheese sauce mix. Cook 2 minutes or until heated through and blended.
Ladle into bowls, Sprinkle with shredded cheese and onion.
This was a big hit at Thanksgiving dinner.... Infact its been requested I make 2 or 3 for Christmas. LOL
No Bake Cheesecake
1 Graham cracker pie crust
8 ounces cream cheese softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounces cool whip topping thawed
Directions: Beat Cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, beat well.
Blend in sour cream and vanilla, fold in Whipped topping. Then
Blend well, Spoon into crust and Chill at least 4 hours.
