Sitting on a couch, I feel nice,
But lying on my bed is just twice,
Dreaming of something that inspires,
Or thinking back on the old times.
Miles away from friends and buddies,
Is like always waving a goodbye kiss,
You need to be tough at all times,
Expect miseries like pennies and dimes.
Sharing our dreams are the things I am missing,
Those times of promising and compromising,
Listening to others fears, troubles and feelings,
But still stay genuine and caring.
The rule I've learned in having a friend,
All quarrels and fights should always end,
And always remember whatever it takes,
Forgive big faults and bunch of mistakes.
Trading petty secrets and amusing anecdotes,
And making an agreement that's the same as an oath,
Helping each other when one's in trouble,
Sharing your thoughts as tales and fable.
As I look up in the ceiling and reminisce these things,
I feel like a prisoner in my own being,
I'm missing my friends that's all it says'
But it's nice to recollect the good old days!.....
