Thanks to all of you who have sent well wishes and phone calls to see if I and my family are ok.
We did survive the storm.. and came back on Sunday to see mass destruction everywhere. I will be posting photos soon in my photo gallery.
Mass destruction is everywhere in my area. Whole neighborhoods are destroyed. 40 Persons known dead at the moment with more search and discovery on going. The area in which I live has suffered total losses of homes, and all belongings. FEMA is starting to come in to help to give us ice, and non perishable foods, as most of us have lost all foods that were in fridges and freezers.
Needless to say that the losses of material possessions is devastating, however, I am thankful to God for keeping so many of us safe.
I will post more information when I am able, my time is short at the moment as I am working on food, and water and ice for us. I hope that I will be online some more this evening.
