I will call this useless and unnecessary news of the day. Well not that I have written it down mind you more so the fact that someone created it and is determined to market the product. We all have that special age in our head and normally keep it to ourselves what age a child should have a cell phone right? We how about this…what age should a dog be to have one? Oh I am not joking. A Japanese company has designed ring tones for dogs that only dogs can hear. I am struggling with this due to the fact the ring is only accessible to canines which leads one to wonder who is going to answer it and if at all what does the dog say? Raaalooow…bark! BARK! Pet lovers never seem to give enough to their animal companions. They pamper their pet with “gourmet” food, “designer” garments, satin and silk beds, jewel encrusted collars, and much more. There is really no way to even know that a pet can appreciate all the things we do for them, but that doesn’t seem to thwart our efforts. The latest is from a Tokyo content provider, Dwango, who is getting ready to sell ring tones that only dogs can hear. The service, called “Inu ni shika kikoenai chakushinon” (ring tones only dogs can hear) will make free downloads available to current Do Como I-Mode subscribers. What practical purpose this development will serve was left out of Dwango’s press release. I’m sure there’ll be a lot of unanswered cell phones next to barking dogs, wishing the damn things would stop ringing. You know………we sit hear and determine what we wasted our money on from time to time and think I could have done without that or I didn’t need this……my thought process on this one is that so goofy person will buy it and claim it’s the best thing ever for their dog and they will tell another and another and this Japanese company will flourish due to sells of this good for nothing piece of technology. Oh there…now I am even calling it technology shame on me………With the world in disarray………starving of third world countries, war here there and everywhere, disease sickness and incurable illnesses. We continue to develop engineers, scientists and cutting edge geniuses that go away to schools high priced ones at that and this is what their education has done for them………tell me something…Ok? What good came out of developing a dog ring tone? Is there going to be a TV show now called Rescue Dog 911 that Police chief O’Hara snaps up his cell phone and dials in Lassie’s number or Rin Tin Tin’s number or scruffy’s number to thwart a kid napping or to catch a thief of the kibble? Trust me this was the better story…There was another story in the same area on Japanese manufacturing of a Robotic Girl Friend for Geeks… oh let’s not walk down that path of no return…
So today is Tuesday. Good Morning. ……… I continue to think about that goofy dog ring tone…We waist more money on pet devices and oh crap I need off this subject….
So I will end on that note… no! It’s not a canine only note…
