I've been divorced for four years (she is remarried)...i was married 16 years and with her over 20...we did a lot of growing together...but somehow, to be succinct, we became more like brother and sister than lovers...We now have shared custody of our two girls..grace is 9 and olivia is 7... i have them every wednesday and every other weekend. under the circumstances i think we have done pretty well and they seem happy..albeit they could care less if we were in love and wish we were still a familly...but all in all, it's working out and they enjoy their time with me...my ex and i made it a point never to put the children between us in times of conflict and i think it has paid off.. I did date someone for a year since my marriage..and while it didn't pan out as i had hoped, i learned in invaluable lesson: that giddy feeling you have for someone is not reserved for high school crushes..it is something real and can happen anytime in your life...and i can't wait to find that again! I work for an architectural/interior design firm in downtown cincinnati...i feel fortunate to have a job i don't mind going to, and actually have a passion for at times...there are days that i can't believe i'm getting paid to do what i do and i appreciate and imbrace those moments!...i have a 14 year old dog name senna that lost an eye as a puppy to a cat that was none to keen to her advances..hence she is the one eyed one i love, lol... There are many things in life i enjoy and with the right person an unlimited array of activities i could enjoy experiencing for the first time...i had friends from all the different groups growing up..whether they were brainiacs, druggies, good ole boys, or athletes...i played baseball and basketball in high school and could easily adapt to most any sporting endeavor you might be interested in..beyond that, being from an artistic background i appreciate and enjoy the miriad avenues in that world as well..be it museums and theatre..or on a personal level...any form of creating such as drawing, painting, and photography. Having graduated from architecture school..i was blessed with the experience of learning under an international acclaimed architect as well as extensive travels in europe as well as india and nepal...i consider the six months i studied and lived in venice, italy a truly life changing experience and i've grown to really appreciate (and in some cases drawn to) people of other cultures. I enjoy the beach, the woods, mountain biking, and experiencing new places and experiences but also perfectly content with just hanging out at home with that someone special...i assure you there is no program or sporting event i would not immediately jump off the couch from watching should you suggest going for a walk...i've learned alot in the many years of marriage...patience, compromise, and understanding....to just listen and not necessarily try to solve your problem...i'm responsible, obtimistic, and mature...but know how to be a complete goof as well! I consider myself a romantic, sincere, and passionate person..loving, giving, attentive, and affectionate..and above all..loyal!..i have no expectations of my partner in the traditional sense...you are not there to have food on the table for me unless it is something you actually enjoy doing!...i hope to find a meaningful and lasting relationship...an equal partnership..my best friend and passionate lover...a woman i can cherish!
