Falling Behind

Coconut Flan Recipe courtesy Paula Deen, 2007 Show: Paula's Home Cooking Episode: Thai For My Guy Coconut Flan 1/3 cup sugar 3 eggs 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 1/2 cups coconut milk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 cup shredded coconut flakes Fresh whipped cream, for garnish 1/4 cup shredded coconut flakes, toasted, for garnish Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the sugar until it caramelizes. Pour it into a flan dish, pie plate or round souffle baking dish with shallow sides, swirling it around to coat the bottom. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until foamy with a wire whisk. Beat in the condensed milk, coconut milk, vanilla extract and 1/4 cup coconut. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. It will need to bake in a water-bath in the oven. Feeling Grinchy
Today has not been my day for having the Christmas spirit. First, I am still struggling to pay my rent. This isn't being helped by the fact that I am getting zero job interviews or offers. Second, I had to go to Wal-Mart to get a few things. The place was crowded. Check-out lines were long. And what really pissed me off was that there was this woman in the "20 items or less" line with at least 30 items. Not only was she clearly over the limit, her family kept adding new stuff to be bought while the cashier was ringing her up. Not helping things is that it has been cold and couldy here in AZ. So I feel even more depressed.

This Christmas
I had a Christmas wish last year, and It fell on deaf ears. My heart was broken and I had the worst Christmas ever. This year I made the same wishes. The big one is coming true. Now That The Holidays Are Over!!!
OMG! Now that the holidays are over it is time to work on getting back in shape. I have always been into working out and being very active. When I met my ex husband 7 years ago I weighed 120 pounds. To make a long story short: We got married 2 years into the marriage got pregnant, lost the baby at 6 months then found out that I cannot have anymore kids. My husband did not want to be married to someone that did not want to have kids, depression set in and on top of the baby weight I put on depression weight. When I left my husband and moved back to Texas I started to get back into shape. I watch the two lovers walk hand in hand to a secluded tent. I can’t contain my curiosity inside any longer so I follow from a safe distance, watching as the couple leans into each other oblivious to their surroundings. He has his arm across her back with his hand caressing her bottom, and she has a hand in his back pocket, they are kissing one another every few steps their eyes locked in wonders only they can see. The mystery between them causes me to breathe a little heavier with each passing step. Surgery
So, what with me posting about my surgery on Tuesday in my status, I figured I should blog an explanation. In a nutshell: Recently they found pre-cancerous cells on my cervix. The cells have progressed to the point where they need to be removed, so Tuesday I'm headed to the hospital for what's called a LEEP procedure. Basically what will happen is that my ob-gyn will take a hot metal wire and scrape off the bad cells from my cervix so that they can't progress any further and cause cancer. Fortunately my ob-gyn is one of the few that will give me la-la juice before the procedure, so I won't feel this (very painful) procedure taking place. So that's why I'm having surgery. It's a minor surgery, at least in terms of what actually happens, but a major surgery regarding my life. AND the kicker is...I CANT HAVE SEX AFTER. For a good long time. Mri Finally Scheduled!!!
MRI Tomorrow!!! Ok folks!! You have all heard about the pain,a nd me not wanting to talk or go out to do antyhing. Well we did find out it is not my arm bugging me after all of this but my neck. One Really Bad Day
Sadly, the title to this post is true. I miscarried. Ernest took me to the er saturday night because I was bleeding and cramping really bad. I had started passing lumps earily saturday morn and I just knew something was wrong. The er doc said that it did not look good. I went to the doctor today and its medically confermed, that I miscarried. Something was wrong with the baby and my body caught it before the doctor's would have and did the only thing that it could. If I seem bitchy or distant, its not that I am pissed at you. I am dealing wth whats happened in my own way. So I will only say this once! Imminent Self-destruction
I told a friend once what to expect if my profiles on the net were ever to be deleted by me... ...well... ...this one may soon be deleted. Looking For Promotion
I have just recently applied for the job of grounds superintendant. I hope i get it. Its a big promotion for me...i wil be the BOSS. Rivers questionable for AFC title game By BERNIE WILSON, AP Sports Writer Mon Jan 14, 9:33 PM ET SAN DIEGO - The euphoria of the San Diego Chargers' stunning win against the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts was replaced by reality Monday. While two-time NFL rushing champion LaDainian Tomlinson said he should be able to play in Sunday's AFC championship game, the Chargers know quarterback Philip Rivers will be gimpy with a sprained right knee if he's able to play against the undefeated New England Patriots. Rivers was listed as questionable. Living Life
Well things have settled down and life is so much better. Though there are still some things I would like to change I know it will only take time. I have a wonderful woman in my life and though we live together we don't have alto of time to spend with each other. With me working and her doing her school stuff and at the time I work it makes it hard. But in time things will get better and we will find away to have more time with each other. Everyday I miss her and everyday I love waking up next to her and going to sleep with her at night. I love having the kids here and feeling like a family. We have made our Friday nights a family night and though this last Friday didn't go as well as I hoped cause of all the pain I was in from cleaning the house and everything. My back was hurting really bad. Hopefully this coming Friday will be alto better.
