I grew up in Northern Ohio and went to school in Central Ohio. When I graduated, I went into the US Air Force for 15 years. While I was in the US Air Force, I had the opportunity to see many parts of Europe, including Germany when the East and West was still divided by the Berlin wall and had the opportunity to be in Paris for the Eiffel Tower's 100th year anniversary. I also got to experience Octoberfest for many years the real way...the German way! When I got out, I was stationed in Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, I moved to Phoenix, AZ, and became a Police Detective for the Phoenix Police Department. I worked for them for over 12 years until I was forced to retire due to injury/disability. The reason I had to retire was because I was involved in 2 on-duty shooting within a month of each other, one of which I took a ricochet bullet off of my stomach.
