Second Chance
I gave you a second chance.
I don't give them freely!!
Too many times I have been hurt.
Too many times I have been walked all over.
Yet I gave you a second chance to make things work.
Now I can not give a third chance.
I was willing to at first.
I loved you more than anyone!
Now here I am hurt, confused and in pain, yet again!!
WHAT AM I TO DO?
All I feel is the need to run away.
To protect myself and my daughter.
Your actions speak louder than words.
You say I want to work things out.
Yet your actions prove that all you want is to end it all!!
Your lies, deciet and controlling makes me think that you will never change.
Here I sit trying to collect my shattered heart and soul YET AGAIN!!
THIS IS WHY I DON'T GIVE SECOND CHANCES!!!
