Other day I came across the letters you wrote me
I sat down and read them
And the tears started to flowing down my checkss
They talk about our hopes and dreams
What we wanted for our future
But it didn't work out the way,we thought it should
You were gone more and more
I could not understand why
Thought you wanted the same things I did
I guess I was wrong about that
We didn't have the faith to make it work
That was so many years ago
Time to throw out the letters
And the memories that go with it
Looking forward to better days
