Tears

Drowing in my own tears

Living all my worst fears

The sorrow, the heartbreak

Too painful to take

My soul feels broken

Keeping everything inside unspoken

Dry my tears

Heal my soul

Take my fears away and make Me whole

Fragile, Delicate and Pure

Give Me my light 

So I have the power of sight

To see what I can do to put things right.

Don't judge Me for what I do

I am a free spirit

so be it.

I need to mend 

and never bend

to peoples needs and desires

To give them the fuel to feed their inner fires.

Take Me for who I am

Not what You want Me to be.

If You don't like Me 

Then leave me be.

Yeah I make mistakes 

But we all do.

I was put on this god forsaken planet for a reason

I'm yet to discover why

I just want to fly so high 

I can touch the clouds 

Feel the sun on my pale skin 

Feel the warmth fill my whole being.

It's an awesome feeling being in love.

Being told I'm Beautiful

I deem it dutiful to be faithful.

Keep those I hold dear close.

I feel like I'm in a dream 

But how can I be, I feel pain, I feel Happiness and I feel Joy.

I'm not some kind of toy

that can be played with then discarded broken at the bottom of the box

My heart is a lock and You hold the key.

Keep it safe and for the whole world to see

How much You do indeed love Me.
