Jeff Bridges and John Goodman return as America's favorite bowlers, The Dude and Walter Sobchak. They receive the bad news that their bowling alley will be closing in a week to make room for a parking garage. The garage is being erected by the corrupt land owner Bavarian Illuminati played by Bill Murray.
Walter and The Dude team up with bowling enemy Jesus Quintana (John Turturro) to head to Washington to seek out The Dude’s only son Mark Lebowski (Jesse Eisenberg) to get help saving their bowling alley.
