1st there's Tara my oldest daughter. at 13 she choose me as her dad.
and though the years were sometimes trying, for her choice I will always be glad.
at first it seemed like she hated me, right from the very start.
but the walls she put up slowly came down and she allowed me into her heart
im proud of the woman she turned into and in 07 I'll have my 1st grandkid.
see she didnt have to love me, but for some strange reason she did.
then there is my only son Greg, at 8 he was special to me.
because I always wanted a son and a better son there will never be.
teaching him to ride a bike, was only one of my greatest joys.
while shopping we could stop at the toy dept and play with all the toys.
going to movies, arcades or the circus, oh what fun we had.
Im proud of the man you turned into, thanks for lettiing me be Dad.
and then there's my youngest, Mariah age 6 so young she looked up to me.
it felt like I was her real dad and I was proud to be
just the way her face lit up, when dad would come around.
it always picked my spirits us no matter how far they were down.
be it a boogy man in a closet or healing a skinned knee
oh and the invisible tea partys were always special to me
I Love each of you kids!. each in your own special way,
earned a place deep in my heart where you will always stay.
im not biologically dad and know I will never be.
but thanks to you im a proud dad and im proud of my special 3
