So on with today’s goober awards. Now how can anyone fault this guy.
Joseph Goetz, 48, was charged with trying to rob the Susquehanna Bank in Springettsbury Township, Pa., in November, even though he had to leave empty-handed. The bank had just opened for the day, and cash had not yet been delivered to tellers' stations. Employees said that Goetz was highly irritated at having wasted his time, and that he threatened to file a "complaint" about the bank's operations. Attempted Robbery is Attempted. However give the guy a few coins so at least he fells like he deserves to be in jail for taking something, I mean being pissed off at the Bank is no reason to lock his dumb butt up.
How about the latest in not knowing there were camera’s on me…
Benedict Harkins, 46, was charged with attempted petty larceny in Jamestown, N.Y., in December after he had filed an insurance claim against the Farm Fresh Market for having tripped over a rug at the front door. Shortly after the filing, Harkins was informed that the store's front-door surveillance camera had captured a sequence in which he had sat down and adjusted the rug to make it look like he had tripped. Harkins then immediately withdrew the claim but was arrested anyway. Hey Benedict Arnald…I mean Harkins, try the Salmonella trick with the eggs. Perhaps you could have least received free eggs for a year instead of three hots and a cot in the Gray Bar Motel…
Once again I am not watching American Idol until they get to Hollywood or even when they vote in the final contestants…however I do hear strange events taking place and it reassures my thought process is warranted by not watching…apparently Mr. Ryan Seacrest tried to High Five a Blind man…You know…I do not know which is hurting more for publicity Ryan or the show…
Oh well, embarrassing moments happen to just about everyone…How embarrassed must have been President Bush to go on last night to say Farewell to the Nation?
